Mumbai takes its F1 seriously. The city's financial crowd, film industry connections and international travel culture mean there are genuine petrolheads here — people who stay up until 2 AM for qualifying in Austin, who know who Piero Ferrari is, and who watched the 2021 Abu Dhabi finale from behind their hands.

Top Viewing Spots

Social, Lower Parel: Consistently one of the best F1 venues in the country. The Parel branch has a large screen setup, decent sound, and a crowd that cheers for actual on-track moments. Gets booked solid for Monaco and Abu Dhabi — reserve in advance.

The Bar Stock Exchange, Andheri: Dynamic pricing drinks and decent screens. A good pick for the Americas night races when you want to make a late night of it.

Hoppipola, Bandra: Popular with the younger Bandra crowd. Staff are accommodating; better for races that fall on a Saturday afternoon.

Hard Rock Cafe, Worli: Floor-to-ceiling windows with a sea view and multiple screens — one of the more atmospheric places to watch a race.

Fan Communities

Mumbai's most active F1 community runs through Instagram pages like @f1mumbai and WhatsApp groups that co-ordinate meetups. The Lights Out newsletter covers Mumbai-specific events — subscribe for race-week roundups.

FanCode Coverage

FanCode holds the Indian broadcast rights for F1 in 2026. Their app streams every session live and their Hindi commentary has improved season on season. Worth having as a backup even if you're watching on a bar screen.
